For a cleaner, more prosperous world, ACC mobilizes conservatives around environmental issues, fostering collaboration in the pursuit of environmental conservation.

Who We Are

Happy Thursday Friend! This week we’re highlighting a social event, providing an opportunity to move into advocacy, and reflecting on how public trust shapes nuclear policy.

WHAT BUSY BEES

More than 30 ACC members gathered in New Smyrna for ACC Orlando’s final beach bonfire before sea turtle season begins, closing out the cooler months with good company and a shared love for Florida’s coast. As the sun set and the fire crackled, conversations moved easily from conservation to community, a reminder that stewardship starts with showing up. Protecting our beaches means enjoying them responsibly, and this crew did just that.

FROM PASSION TO POLICY

Want to go beyond awareness and step into advocacy? From Passion to Policy is a two-part ACC series that teaches how energy and environmental policy actually gets made from the career paths of real advocates to the practical skills you need to influence outcomes on Capitol Hill and in your community. Sign up now to learn from experienced practitioners, sharpen your impact, and turn your passion for conservation into policy influence.

FROM THE HIVE

This week we’re reflecting on how public trust enables the hard, necessary work of nuclear energy on our blog.

THE BULLY PULPIT

In this week’s edition of The Bully PulpitChris Johnson breaks down why the DOMINANCE Act is more than tough talk on China. He argues that true decoupling starts with critical minerals and explains how this legislation would reorganize U.S. policy to rebuild American strength from the ground up.

What makes this important is that minerals are no longer treated as just a defense issue or just a trade issue. They are an energy issue, an economic issue, an innovation issue, and an everything issue.
