Apply to the Top 50 Summit
FAQs
The 2026 Top 50 Summit will bring together our highest-tier members for an exclusive, insider experience. Attendees will have unique access to speakers, gain deeper insights into our work, and leave with a stronger connection to the movement they are helping lead.
From start to finish, every part of the experience is designed to recognize our most engaged members and reinforce how much their leadership within the movement matters. We’re also creating intentional space for attendees to connect and build relationships that extend beyond a typical conference.
The Top 50 Summit is designed to recognize ACC’s most engaged grassroots leaders. As a result, this year’s attendance will be determined through an application process rather than open registration.
Members who have been actively involved in ACC programs, events, and advocacy efforts are encouraged to apply. Our team will review applications to identify a cohort of members who are helping grow the movement and advance ACC’s mission in their communities.
Being selected for the Top 50 is a special recognition within the ACC community that highlights members who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and engagement in the grassroots movement.
Top 50 attendees will take part in specially tailored Summit experiences designed to deepen their understanding of ACC’s work and strengthen connections with fellow leaders across the country. Participants will also receive a certificate of recognition acknowledging their role as one of the organization’s most active grassroots advocates.
The annual ACC Summit brings hundreds of our members together for a weekend of programming, training, and networking in a new location each year. Past speakers have included elected officials, influencers, policy experts, and other leaders shaping the future of conservation and energy policy.
Beginning in 2026, ACC will alternate Summit formats each year. Even-numbered years will feature the Top 50 Summit, a smaller gathering recognizing our most active grassroots leaders, while odd-numbered years will return to the traditional open ACC Summit, welcoming hundreds of members from across the country.
Yes! We offer travel and lodging scholarships to ACC members to attend the annual summit. Please connect with your ACC Field Team contact to learn more about these options.
The ACC Summit dress code is business casual, with a more formal awards ceremony to conclude the event. Otherwise, you’ll want to bring your usual travel essentials, business cards for networking, and a notepad and pen for notes during training sessions. Additional details and preparation guidance will be shared after registration.
