Hunter Rivera

Hunter Rivera is a native of Windsor in Weld County, Colorado, and has been involved in public service and politics since the age of 17. He has worked on numerous campaigns over the years and played a key role in several successful races in Weld County during the 2024 election cycle. In 2022, he worked for the Colorado Republican Party, leading grassroots efforts in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District.

Hunter also brings legislative experience from the Colorado State Capitol, where he served as a legislative aide from 2021 to 2025. During that time, he worked for Senator Barbara Kirkmeyer, Representative Mike Lynch, Representative Kurt Huffman, Representative Ryan Armagost, and Representative Lori Garcia Sander. During that time, he helped staff and support legislation on various subjects, including health care, insurance, local land use authority, natural resources, water policy, and the state budget.

In addition to his campaign and legislative work, Hunter currently serves as Chairman of the Weld County Republican Party and as National Committeeman for the Colorado Federation of Young Republicans. He also volunteers on several local boards and commissions in Windsor and Weld County.

Outside of politics, Hunter is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys biking, hiking, and golfing, and is passionate about exploring Colorado’s natural beauty whenever he can.
