Join us in fighting for conservation in Utah:

ACC is deeply committed to conserving Utah’s beautiful natural heritage. In May, we worked with Governor Cox and local and federal leaders to host a roundtable on restoring the Great Salt Lake. Our ACC Utah members also joined Governor Cox for an on-the-ground lake-focused restoration project at the Eccles Wildlife Education Center.

But saving the Great Salt Lake is not where our work ends. ACC is also focused on advancing common-sense conservation policies like active forest management so Utah’s forests can stay resilient in the face of mega wildfires. Already this year, more than 50,000 wildfires have burned more than 8 million acres across the U.S.

Fire, in general, is a natural part of forest ecosystems. However, human mismanagement has had devastating consequences: In Utah alone, nearly 300,000 acres have already been destroyed this year.
