The American Conservation Coalition is building the conservative environmental movement to realize a cleaner, more prosperous world that fosters collaboration in the pursuit of environmental conservation. The Office Administrator & Assistant to the President role reports to the President and the Operations Director and is responsible for supporting the President through scheduling, communication, and project coordination while overseeing the day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities
Executive Support: (80%)
- Provide scheduling, calendar, and inbox organization for the President
- Attend in-person and virtual meetings on behalf of the President as needed
- Assist with booking travel arrangements and submitting expense reports
- Manage and track partner and donor contacts
- Create agendas and provide minutes before and after meetings
- Assist with special projects, as needed
Office Management: (20%)
- Greet and direct guests, and manage the reception area
- Collect, distribute, and send mail and packages
- Maintain electronic and physical files
- Manage office access and distribute keys to staff and interns
- Liaise with building management (rent, security, and maintenance)
- Monitor general ACC email accounts and direct messages to the proper staff
- Maintain office supplies & snacks
- Assist with distributing holiday, birthday, new-hire, and anniversary gifts
- Assist with the coordination and execution of special events and meetings held at the office or in D.C.
Qualifications
- Previous internship or entry-level experience preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter who succeeds with minimal supervision
- Ability to function in an occasionally fast-paced environment
- Google Suite and calendar management experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times
Location and Travel Requirements
This position is based in our Downtown Washington, D.C. office, and requires 3-4 days per week in-person. Some evening and weekend hours will be required for events. Occasional travel (2-3 times per year) for team retreats and special events will be required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: The range for this position is $60,000-75,000, commensurate with experience.
