Content Associate

The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) is seeking an experienced, full-time Content Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated self-starter with experience in graphic design, social media content creation, and copywriting. Additionally, this role would require a candidate passionate about ACC’s mission and the work we do both in Washington, D.C. and across the country. Depending on the candidate’s preference, this position could be remote or based in ACC’s Washington D.C. office.


  • Work closely with the Social Media Director to curate values-led content for ACC’s Instagram and Facebook channels, including video content such as Reels
    • Serve as a “face” of the organization in social media content and interact with ACC brand accounts
  • Design and edit assets such as graphics, video clips, stickers, and more at the direction of the Creative Director
  • Collaborate with both Grassroots and Grasstops teams to design educational and administrative assets


  • At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Understanding of ACC’s mission, vision, and principles
  • Robust knowledge of design principles and skilled in video editing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and organized

Compensation & Benefits

  • This is a full-time, salaried exempt position with a salary range between $45,000 to $55,000 annually, based on factors such as years of experience and location.
  • Health benefits include access to medical insurance plans and dental and vision coverage. ACC covers 70% of the premiums for employees and coverage is available after 30 days of employment. A $250 wellness stipend is granted quarterly.
