ACC Announces Energy Freedom Tour Alongside Cabinet Secretaries
OKLAHOMA CITY – The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) proudly announced the Energy Freedom Tour, a 10-campus speaking series touting the importance of unleashing American energy, at yesterday’s Powering AI: Global Leadership Summit among speakers such as Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins, and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin.
In partnership with the Hamm Institute for American Energy, ACC will host administration officials, energy CEOs, and other prominent energy advocates on college campuses nationwide. From AI to manufacturing to economic growth, energy demand is only rising globally. In order to meet this challenge, the Energy Freedom Tour will highlight the importance of all-of-the-above energy abundance, cutting-edge innovation, and American reindustrialization – piercing the negative narrative that has dominated campuses for too long.
ACC President Chris Barnard said: “We know that energy abundance, economic prosperity, and environmental progress go hand in hand, yet too many young people have been misled as to this reality. We are thrilled to host the Energy Freedom Tour with the Hamm Institute to show young Americans that a cleaner, more abundant energy future is not only possible, but on the horizon – if we so choose. With 75,000 college and young professional members across the country, ACC looks forward to convening today’s and tomorrow’s energy leaders.”
Hamm Institute Executive Director Dr. Ann Bluntzer Pullin said: “Energy is the bedrock of human flourishing, and American innovation has always led the way. At the Hamm Institute, we are passionate about shaping a brighter energy future to meet rising demand in a creative, forward-thinking way. We are thrilled to be bringing this message to campuses nationwide with ACC.”
More dates and speakers will be announced in the coming months ahead of the kick-off. For more information about the series, visit our landing page.
