For a cleaner, more prosperous world, ACC mobilizes conservatives around environmental issues, fostering collaboration in the pursuit of environmental conservation.

Who We Are

Today, the American Conservation Coalition is officially six years old. What was once an idea thought up in a college classroom has become a nationwide movement – thanks to our staff, activists, and generous supporters.

Our work has resulted in great strides for both the conservative environmental movement and bipartisan climate action. With one hundred branches nationwide and over 20,000 activists like you, we’ve proven that conservatives care about our environment – and that they’re willing to act to make it better.

We’ve come a long way, but this is just the beginning. We see a future in which nature flourishes within our communities, and the likes of farmers, sportsmen, and outdoorsmen are seen as the true environmental heroes they are. We’re working toward a future where conservation is once again instinctive to conservatism.

Thanks to the work done on the ground by our activists, this goal is becoming more and more of a reality. What once was taboo on Capitol Hill is now mainstream, and Members of Congress from both parties are at the table in climate and conservation discussions. Activists like you have been instrumental in pushing strong environmental legislation across the finish line, and you’ve made immeasurable impacts in each of your communities.

Of course, there is more work to be done, but we’re confident in the strength of the movement our activists have built nationwide. As we reflect back on six years of wins, lessons learned, and cherished memories, we know one thing to be true – we can fight climate change and protect our environment in a way that’s good for people and the planet. ACC is here to ensure that work happens.
