ACC Releases The American Climate Contract
The American Conservation Coalition is proud to release the conservative response to climate change: The American Climate Contract. This groundbreaking proposal is the alternative to unrealistic and ineffective, progressive climate policies. The American Climate Contract lays out a clear vision for success in the fight against climate change by focusing on four key policy areas: Energy Innovation, 21st Century Infrastructure, Natural Solutions, and Global Engagement.
The ACC team worked with an unprecedented coalition of experts and activists to develop the American Climate Contract and is honored to have the support of many leading organizations, including: The Young Republican National Federation, Students For Liberty, The National Wildlife Federation, Trout Unlimited, and Students for Trump. More than 20 College Republican State Chairmen support our proposal. We’re building a grassroots movement. Next we’re taking it to Congress.
ACC President Benji Backer said: “For decades, climate change has been unnecessarily locked in a standstill due to political divisiveness, poor policy solutions, and inadequate messaging. Finally, the American Climate Contract sets a sorely-needed framework for America to move forward on driving down emissions, keeping our economy thriving, and standing the test of time.”
