ACC President and Chief Operating Officer Announced as Recipients of
Forbes 30 Under 30 2020: Energy Award
The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) President, Benji Backer, and Chief Operating Officer, Danielle Butcher, were announced today as recipients of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 2020: Energy award. They join dozens of other young people who are leading the way on environmental progress, and are thrilled to receive this award on behalf of ACC.
ACC’s Communications Director Bethany Bowra said: “This award is the culmination of years of hard work that has gone on behind the scenes. When we started ACC, we never would have dreamed that we would grow so quickly in such a short amount of time. Benji and Danielle are two of the most hard-working, passionate people I know, and this award is well-deserved. All of us at ACC are proud to work alongside them and to continue working for this cause that has grown because of their leadership and dedication. We aren’t just advocating for solutions– we’re creating a movement. That starts with great leadership, and Benji and Danielle are perfect examples of it.”
