The American Conservation Coalition (ACC) is thrilled to announce the winners of 30 Under 30: The Green Generation, a project designed to highlight this generation’s leaders who are paving a new way forward on environmental issues. Working alongside EarthX and The National Audubon Society, ACC is proud to recognize these individuals for their dedication to the cause.
The individuals listed below were nominated and selected by their peers for their outstanding work on environmental issues. Winners include innovators in industries ranging from conservation to clean energy to academia, and include individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Organizations recognized include 4Ocean, The Nature Conservancy, Coral Vita, and National Geographic, alongside many others who are making a difference in their fields.
ACC President Benji Backer said: “ACC is proud to partner with EarthX and Audubon to recognize these outstanding individuals who are leading the way on crucial environmental issues. EarthX is the perfect place to bring these leaders together for a few days of inspiring and productive conversations on various issues, and we look forward to the progress those dialogues will bring. Their dedication and hard work is making waves, and we are honored to highlight their achievements and to support their efforts in the future.”
The winners of 30 Under 30 will participate in a day of panels and events at EarthX 2019 in Dallas, Texas, followed by an evening reception recognizing their achievements.
