Karly Matthews

Karly Matthews is the Vice President of Communications at the American Conservation Coalition. In this role, she oversees the organization’s Communications Team and works with ACC’s Senior Leadership Team to set high-level messaging.
As a spokesperson for the organization, Karly has appeared on BBC World News and Fox & Friends. Since assuming her role in 2020, Karly has facilitated the publication of more than 500 ACC-affiliated op-eds, including pieces in The Hill, The Washington Examiner, and RealClear. She was named one of Maverick PAC’s Future 40 in 2023.
Karly, a Pennsylvania native now living in Washington D.C., graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and political science. She’s currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Strategic Communication, Advocacy, and Social Impact at American University.
When she’s not at work, Karly can be found watching a golf tournament, walking her beloved corgi, or squeezing in a quick run at the gym.
